The market price of Green Tea Extreme is almost double that of the price of other products of a similar nature and this does not look right.

A dubious character named Dr Perricone has been pretty successful in selling quick fix weight loss products, skin improvement products, nutrients etc. Once he was on Oprah Winfrey show and he claimed that Oprah could lose 10 pounds in a period of only a month and half, provided she change from drinking coffee to Green Tea Extreme.
What are the contents of Green Tea Extreme? The sample we tested had Green Tea, Guarana and Citrus Aurantium in it.
As is understandable from its name, the major content of Green Tea Extreme is none other than Green Tea itself. The rate at which Green Tea can oxidize body fat is great. The polyphenols and catechins contained in Green Tea could be the effective ingredient of it, which help in weight loss.
The manufacturer’s claim that Green Tea Extreme can help you to lose 10 lbs or more in a 25-day period is not verified independently.
Citrus Aurantium is a product like synephrine, which in turn is very close to Ephedra in its chemical combination. Synephrine is thought to have some fat burning properties as noted in one study. It will take a few more studies before you will get a thorough understanding of its effectiveness.
The next component of Green Tea Extreme is Guarana and has roughly 10% caffeine in it. It has diuretic and antioxidant properties associated with it. Green Tea and the caffeine content can act in tandem to speed up weight loss as is proven already.
Green Tea Extreme does not provide you with the information regarding the proportion of its individual components in it. It has 500 mg of Green Tea in it. There are other brands available in market with more Green Tea content and can be obtained for a much cheaper price.
There is no point in pricing Green Tea Extreme at such a high rate in comparison to other products of similar nature. We will wait and check out some more Green Tea products before we will make our recommendation on weight loss products based on Green Tea.
In conclusion, Green Tea based weight loss products in conjunction with other more potent products could help you in losing weight faster. But these products by themselves may not result in any significant change.
